Please read these terms carefully. By using GlobalCarePort, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

The Role of GlobalCarePort

GlobalCarePort is a marketplace platform — not a medical provider.

GlobalCarePort LLC ("GlobalCarePort," "we," "us," or "our") operates an online marketplace that connects patients seeking medical care with independent, verified medical providers. We are based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States.

GlobalCarePort does not:

  • Provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Employ or directly supervise any medical provider listed on the platform
  • Guarantee the outcome of any medical procedure or treatment
  • Act as a medical referral service

All medical providers listed on GlobalCarePort are independent professionals. The relationship formed when you book through our platform is between you and the provider directly. GlobalCarePort facilitates the connection and booking process only.

By using GlobalCarePort, you acknowledge and accept this distinction.

Eligibility

To use GlobalCarePort you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • Not be prohibited from using the platform under any applicable law

By using GlobalCarePort, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. If you are using the platform on behalf of a third party (such as a family member), you represent that you have the authority to do so and to bind that person to these terms.

Patient Terms

As a patient using GlobalCarePort, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information. All information you provide — including health history, contact details, and booking information — must be accurate and complete. Providing false information may result in your account being suspended and could affect your medical care.
  • Conduct your own due diligence. While GlobalCarePort verifies provider credentials, we encourage you to conduct your own research, ask providers questions, and satisfy yourself that a provider and procedure are appropriate for your individual circumstances before booking.
  • Consult your own doctor. Before travelling abroad for medical procedures, you should consult with your primary care physician or a qualified medical professional in your home country. GlobalCarePort does not replace medical advice from a doctor who knows your full health history.
  • Arrange appropriate travel insurance. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes medical evacuation, cancellation coverage, and coverage for complications arising from medical procedures abroad. GlobalCarePort does not provide travel insurance.
  • Communicate honestly with your provider. Full disclosure of your medical history, current medications, and relevant health conditions is essential for your safety. GlobalCarePort is not responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from incomplete disclosure.
  • Use the platform lawfully. You may not use GlobalCarePort for any fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful purpose.

Provider Terms

Medical providers listed on GlobalCarePort agree to the following in addition to any separate Provider Agreement:

  • Accurate credentials. All credentials, certifications, accreditations, and other information submitted during the verification process must be accurate, current, and complete. Misrepresentation of credentials is grounds for immediate removal from the platform and may be reported to relevant licensing authorities.
  • Maintain standards. Providers must maintain their board certifications, facility accreditations, and medical liability insurance throughout their time on the platform. Changes to credential status must be reported to GlobalCarePort promptly.
  • Respond to enquiries promptly. Providers are expected to respond to patient enquiries within the response time displayed on their profile. Consistently poor response times may affect profile visibility or result in suspension.
  • Honour confirmed bookings. Confirmed bookings must be honoured except in genuine medical or emergency circumstances. Unjustified cancellations of confirmed bookings may result in financial penalties and suspension.
  • Platform fee. Providers agree to pay GlobalCarePort a platform fee of 12% on the total value of each completed booking. This fee is deducted automatically via Stripe before payout.
  • Independent contractor status. Providers are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of GlobalCarePort. GlobalCarePort has no control over and no liability for the medical services providers deliver.
  • Patient care standards. Providers are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and legality of the medical services they provide. Providers must comply with all applicable laws and professional standards in their jurisdiction.

Bookings & Payments

Booking deposits: When a patient books an appointment through GlobalCarePort, a deposit is collected to secure the booking. The deposit amount is set by the provider and displayed clearly before payment. Deposits are processed by Stripe, Inc. and held securely until the appointment is completed.

Remaining balance: Any balance remaining after the deposit is paid directly to the provider at the time of the appointment or as otherwise agreed between the patient and provider. GlobalCarePort is not responsible for collecting or managing the remaining balance.

Provider payouts: Following the completion of a booking, GlobalCarePort releases the provider's net earnings (deposit amount less the 12% platform fee) to the provider's connected Stripe account within 48 hours.

Currency: All prices on GlobalCarePort are displayed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Currency conversion fees charged by your bank or card issuer are your responsibility.

Pricing accuracy: GlobalCarePort displays pricing information provided by providers. While we encourage providers to keep pricing current, prices are indicative and may change. The final price for your procedure is agreed between you and your provider directly.

Cancellations & Refunds

Patient cancellations:

  • 7 or more days before the appointment: Full refund of the deposit, processed within 3–5 business days.
  • Less than 7 days before the appointment: The deposit is non-refundable and is paid to the provider as compensation for the held calendar slot.
  • No-shows: Patients who do not attend their appointment without prior cancellation forfeit their deposit in full.

Provider cancellations: If a provider cancels a confirmed booking, the patient will receive a full refund of their deposit regardless of timing. Providers who cancel confirmed bookings without legitimate medical justification may be subject to penalties and suspension from the platform.

How to cancel: To cancel a booking, log into your GlobalCarePort account and cancel through your booking management page, or contact us at contact@globalcareport.com with your booking details.

Refund processing: Refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear in your account within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank.

Disputes: If you believe you are entitled to a refund that has not been processed, please contact contact@globalcareport.com. GlobalCarePort will review the circumstances and make a determination at our reasonable discretion.

You assume full responsibility for all risks associated with medical travel and with any medical procedures you choose to undergo.

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the platform or any service
  • Any loss of data, revenue, or profits

GlobalCarePort's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount of the deposit paid by you in connection with the specific booking giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not use GlobalCarePort to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten any user, provider, or GlobalCarePort staff member
  • Attempt to circumvent the platform by taking bookings off-platform to avoid paying the platform fee (providers)
  • Scrape, copy, or republish platform content without permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform
  • Use the platform in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Post reviews or testimonials that are false, incentivised, or not based on genuine personal experience

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities.

You represent that any content you submit does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
